Are menu labeling laws helpful or harmful to customers? While much legislation is currently being proposed across the country, restaurant operators and customers are wondering if menu labels are really the answer to the nation’s current weight concerns.
So what do you think? Are menu labeling laws helpful or harmful?
I still don't think the restaurants are being honest about them.

I think calorie information is a great idea. I would like to know how many calories (or about) are in the dishes I am eating at restaurants. Here is why. We took my daughter out for her birthday and I ordered a dish that I thought was healthy. It was 2 chicken breasts with a sauce and mashed potatoes. I only ate half, it was just too much food. When we left, I wanted to see how many calories there were. It turned out; had I eaten all of it, it would have been 1200 calories. That is enough calories for the whole day. People do not realize what they are eating. We need to do something.
